the offered breakfast was savoury and tasty. the location was good for llanes, near to cliff top, and the central area. excellent staff, as it had to be.

The staff was helpful with local information. the hotel was placed in a central location close to the beach.

I would definitely recommend the Montemar. It is fairly priced, clean, comfortable and quiet while being centrally located for Llanes beaches, shops and restaurants. There is free parking on site. The staff are friendly, but basic Spanish is essential.

Montemar in Llanes has a perfect location close to all the attractions in town and offers stunning views of the mountains. the building and rooms are great, with cozy decorations. the staff is attentive and ensured we had a pleasant stay during our group biking holiday.

The units are nicely kept and modern with mountain views, equipped with safety features, central heating, and a work desk which is always convenient.

The Hotel is 60mts from the main road that runs through the town of Llanes. The hotel is modern, clean. I was part of a group of 6 on motorcycles, we stayed for 3 nights, good parking on site. My room was booked as single for approx 40euros including breafast, the room was more than big enough, large bathroom as well. The staff were helpful, the breakfast had all of the usual items - bread, cerials, meats and cheeses, toast by request, fresh orange was brought to the table, everything else was buffet. As for the bar, a small beer was approximatly 1.8 euros, bottle of Red wine 10 euros. The location is great for the Picos, north coast, being in Llanes town provides lots of oppertunities for eating and drinking, and looking around the town.

Some people have moaned about the room sizes, mine was a single (double bed) and was slightly smaller than a premier travel inn, other rooms did have balconys. The breakfast room is fairly small but there are other areas to eat in, aim for 09:00!

Although I only stayed for one night while passing through llanes, and did not eat in the restaurant / cafe, I got the impression that the hotel was very pleasant. Lobby area spacious, reception staff friendly, clean throughout and well located. I was pleasantly suprised - I have paid more for a lot worse in the past - good value for money in my opinion, would certainly use again.

Overall really nice stay also on a group biking holiday. Spotless, small hotel. The room itself brand-new and spotless. Fab food for breakfast at the restaurant. Free parking onsite provided. Not to mention excellant wifi!

The hotel is charming, small, and clean with friendly staff. the room is modern with a private bathroom, safe, central heating, and a work desk. - the food is excellent. - the location is great and perfect.

Excellent location only minutes from the beach and also from the bars and restaurants. Reasonably quiet. Good car park.

Our room (floor 4) was uncomfortably hot at night in spite of opening the balcony door and window. (The weather was not particularly hot). Bed rather firm for comfort. No hardrier in the room.
